Account Information: name, email address, organization name, and authentication credentials (stored securely).

Billing and Usage Data: when you connect accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks), we may access invoices, clients/customers, and billing metadata. We do not access bank credentials or payment card numbers.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and log/diagnostic data.

We use information to provide and operate the Service, analyze billing data to surface potential revenue leakage, improve performance and reliability, and communicate account, security, and service updates.

When you authorize QuickBooks access, data is accessed only to provide the Service, is not sold, and is not used for advertising. We comply with Intuit's data access and security requirements.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, databases, payment processors, email delivery). We do not sell or rent your personal or business data.

We retain data while your account is active and as necessary to comply with legal obligations and reasonable business needs. You may request deletion subject to legal and contractual requirements.

We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure authentication practices. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or withdraw consent. Requests may be sent to privacy@trueledger.app.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
